Rodrigo Araújo is a veterinary graduated by Escola Universitária Vasco da Gama, Coimbra, Portugal since 2007. During the degree has made several curricular traineeships at Crespovet Assistência Médica Veterinária supervised by Dr. João Crespo, mainly in equine sports medicine and diagnostic imaging.
The final year curricular traineeship was held at Coudelaria Nacional, Vale de Santarém, supervised by Dr. Mário Barbosa, FEI Head National Veterinary (POR), having the opportunity to develop knowledge in equine reproduction. He attended a post-graduate studies "Equine Practice GP Cert Course" by Improve International, an "Equine Sports Medicine Master" by Córdoba University, as well as several equine conferences abroad. Rodrigo Araújo is a veterinary who throughout his career sought to consolidate knowledge and acquire new skills in equine sports medicine and surgery having done internships at Hospital de Referencia La Equina and at Clinique de Grosbois/Clinique Vétérinaire Equine Chantilly, externships at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital, Alamo Pintado Equine Medical Center, Animal Health Trust, Rossdales Equine Hospital & Diagnostic Centre, Newmarket Equine Hospital, Dierenkliniek De Bosdreef, Veterinair Centrum Someren and Tierklinik Lüsche GmbH.
Since the graduation till present he maintains his practice Clínica Ambulatória de Equinos Rodrigo Araújo. In 2014 has been invited to be associate veterinary surgeon at Dr. Andre Buthe Equine Clinic Ltd., Essex, UK, team veterinary for the British dressage Senior, Young Rider and Junior Teams. Since 2012 he is a Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) Permitted Treating Veterinarian, and since 2022 he is a FEI Level 1 - Official Veterinarian for all disciplines. His interest for horses extends to his personal life, as he is also a rider.
