Ocular disease is common in the horse, the eye may present redness, tearing, squinting or cloudiness.

Some of the more common conditions diagnosed in the horse are corneal ulcers, uveitis, cataracts and squamous cell carcinoma.

Many eye conditions can be successfully managed if treatment is started early, delaying treatments may lead to permanent vision loss or eye loss.
